In terms of the number of pilgrims who travelled to Saudi Arabia

to perform Umrah during this season which started on 1 Muharram, Pakistan has consistently held onto the second spot.

The Umrah season, which concluded on 20 Dhu al-Qa’dah this year, lasted the final 3.5 months, during which time about 370,000 Pakistanis performed the ritual in the Kingdom.

With approximately 551,000 Umrah pilgrims, Indonesia, the nation with the biggest Muslim population in the world, has retained first place overall throughout the season, followed by 370,000 Pakistani, 230,000 Indian, and 100,000 Egyptian pilgrims.

It is important to note that nearly 1.78 million Muslims reached the Kingdom by air, 180,000 by land, and 1,200 by water.

In addition, the Saudi government extended the duration of Umrah visas from one month to three months and permitted pilgrims to travel throughout the entire nation with their visas.

In related news, Saudi Arabia announced a special deal for people who purchased tickets to the FIFA World Cup, allowing them to perform Umrah during the current campaign without having to pay a visa fee.

Pakistan has consistently retained the second position in terms of the number of pilgrims who visited Saudi Arabia to perform Umrah this season, which began from 1 Muharram.

Approximately 370,000 Pakistanis performed Umrah in the Kingdom during the last 3.5 months of the Umrah season, which will end on 20 Dhu al-Qa’dah this year.

The details state that if a person has a Hayya card, which is given to fans attending FIFA World Cup games in Qatar, they will not be charged to perform Umrah.

It is significant to note that in addition to the host nation Qatar, those attending the tournament in November and December
